Tommy Tucker and Bard Selden originally began practicing law in Tunica County, Mississippi, with Senator Jack N. Tucker, who is now deceased. Senator Tucker began that practice in 1950. Tommy Tucker and Bard Selden formed the law firm Tucker & Selden in 1985, and Tom Tucker III joined the firm in 2003. These attorneys reside in Tunica County, Mississippi, and they combined have over seventy-five (75) years of experience handling legal matters in Tunica County.
Tommy Tucker was a Mississippi State Bar Commissioner for the 2004-2007 term, and he has been named as a "Fellow" by the Mississippi Bar Foundation. He has served as President of the Board of Directors of the Tunica Rotary Club and Tunica Academy, and Senior Warden of the Vestry of the Tunica Epiphany Episcopal Church. Bard Selden is currently the Municipal Court Judge for the Town of Tunica, the Tunica County Family Master in Chancery and the Tunica County Youth Court Referee. He also currently serves as counsel for the Tunica County Museum Board of Directors. Tom Tucker is the current President of the Board of Directors of the Tunica Rotary Club. He is also serving on the Board of Directors for the Tunica County Chamber of Commerce, where he will be the President of the Board of Directors for the year 2010. He also currently serves as a Trustee for the Tunica United Methodist Church, as well as holding other leadership positions there.
